Book Collaborator - Alexander Kopelman

Alex is a writer committed to social justice and individual empowerment.  He is the author and co-author of nine books, including: From Rage to Reason: My Life in Two Americas, in collaboration with Janet Langhart Cohen, television personality; What Mama Taught Me, in collaboration with Tony Brown, host of Tony Brown’s Journal on PBS; and The Miracles of Mentoring, in collaboration with Thomas W. Dortch, Jr., national chairman of The 100 Black Men of America, Inc.
 
Alex has a degree in English Literature from Vassar College and an MBA in Marketing from New York University.  He is the founding Board Chair of the Children’s Arts Guild, Inc. and serves on the board of the Sara Curry Preschool.
